About Flutejansson
Hello!
My name is Patrik Jansson and I,m a flutemusician from Sweden. I started to play the flute when I was 10 and have done so ever since. It was my beloved grandmothers wish and I honoure it stil. While playing I can still feel that she is close to me even if she stepped out of time 2002 in the age of 90.
I started my flutestudies in a public musicschool in Eskilstuna. It was the nearest town since I lived in the countryside and in a place called Barva. From there I later went to Stockholm and to the Royal college of music in stockholm. There I got to study for professor Lennart Ehrenlood. He enjoyed me as a student and he nicknamed me BarvaGalway. I,m still quite prowed of that.
After 5 years of studies I got my master in music.
I enjoy doing solorecitales and play solo with orcestras. I collaborate with a lot of pianists and churchmusicians and my line of friends in music is constatly growing.
