I've played flute for 7-8 yrs and violin for 3yrs. I've made it to UIL area in high school on flute for two yrs. I also made State in Solo&Ensemble sadly, I wans't able to attend since I didn't have an accompanist. I was a student at UNT as a pre-music major, but transfered to SHSU as music ed major.

Hey Joshua Bell fans out there! Bach and Friends Documentary DVD is released on January 29, 2010! I can't believe I didn't know the release date before! Anyways, this a must for those who enjoy classical music; you learn about the life of Bach and how he might have felt while composing the music we know and love AND you get to listen to fantastic musicians, critics, brain doctors, but mostly musicians and vocalists perform his music and get to know what the musicians felt while preparing and playing the pieces they play on the DVD. If you like Joshua Bell, Richard Stoltzman, or Bobby McFerrin and enjoy listening and learning about J.S. Bach, then you will enjoy this documentary.
