In 1946, it was considered as a "fact" that Nazis made soap with human fat, (Nuremberg Trial judgment, TMI I 252 <<283>>; VII 597-600 <<656-659>>; XIX 506 <<566-567>>; XXII 496 <<564>>). It seems now that this "fact" is soncidered as a "rumour" (Hilberg, Destruction of the European Jews, revised edition, "definitive", Holmes and Meier, NY, p.966: "The origin of the rumour of the soap made with human fat is unknown till now").
The rumour comes from Sovietic Union (evidence USSR-393), never was analysed by legal medecine, and is now in the Palais de la Paix in La Haye, Holland. The employed at the Palais show the "soap" to the visitors really impressed, but they seem do not answer to the letter from the persons who want to analyse those "soap".
In 1943, the "rumour" said that Nazis were murdering the jews with hot vapor chambers, electric choc, empty chambers, and gaz chambers (exemple, The black Book: The Nazi Crime Against The Jewish People, p.270, 274, 280, 313, was considered as a "proof" at the Nuremberg Commission).
In 1946, the Gaz chamber became a "fact", meanwhile the vapor chambers, electric chambers, and empty chambers stayed as simple "rumour" (Note: the "empty chanbers" were "proved" in the Trial of Oswald Pohl, $th Nuremberg Trial, Nuremberg Military Tribunal IV 1119-1152).
The proofs that attest that jews were gassed are not better for quality than the proofs for vapor chambers, electric chambers, empty chambers; its logical that everybody would doubt of this.
Also we forget the 312,022 certified declarations presented by the defense at the first Nuremberg Trial, but we easily remember the 8 declarations of the accusation that "refuted" them (XXI 437 <<483>>).
