I think Doug Gilbert was a very underrated promo. If he had been a bit bigger, and a little less Southern in his speech, I think he could have done something in one of the big two.

I didn't realize the USWA was still promoting Louisville in 1995. Did they promote Louisville and Evansville all the way to the end? Were there stretches when they weren't promoting those towns?

Rob Ray is real tough going after Trevor Linden. I don't have a lot of respect for Rob Ray; and I at least RESPECT almost every "tough guy" that plays hockey.

Yup, low and behold, Montreal starts both ends of this, gets the worst of it, and I'd bet good money that 27 years ago, right after this game, they whined incessantly about it.

First of all, most of what happened was the fault of the officials. Secondly, the Bruins should have done a lot more on their own to right the situation.

@MrHandsallover Interestingly enough, it depends on who you ask if this is already watered down. I liked this stuff, but I grew up on it. The old timers hated it.
