The Floral Underground - Not your grandma's flower shop. Glass... Metal... Paint... Wire... Concrete... Garbage... and... oh yeah... FLOWERS. Floral Design is an art-form, as long as it is used as an art-form. The Floral Underground was established in 2008 from the depths of an old apartment building. As the movement grew, it migrated to a cramped hole in the wall on 8th Street in Traverse City. Once the movement caught public eye, it exploded and now congregates in the TRU FIT TROUSER Warehouse in the real warehouse district of Traverse City - Woodmere Avenue. Far from the traditional, and way into the unusual, The Floral Underground composes artwork from flowers and other random materials on a daily basis to bring to the public for everyday expression.
