Getting Demoscene
If you never heard of demoscene before ( surely my surrounding didn't ) it's a group ( or better say community ) of people who are making great music, well mainly video-clips by using their excellent skill with programming software ( c++, c, visual etc. )
Its mainly a program that u download into PC and instantly have complete video-clip ( e.g like fairchild.exe ) where you just set options ( like channels on sound card, graphics quality, resolution etc ) and enjoy a masterful art of modern composers ( or, should i say programmers ? graphic artists ?, that generalizing is kinda hard ). Well i was introduced by this music quite ago ( but my external HDD with all good stuff get scrapped so i make a little image of it here ), its great and there is just no way how to differ bad from good, its all by one way great, either if you are looking at new group or on "old school" they all have something
If its good music, or stunning abstract, scifi or hitech art before your eyes depends from one part on your end how you set all the stuff up and enjoy the ride. What can i say that I pretty much regret i wasn't on live action of these masters.
All the magic is within of graphical interface ( either win API - directX series or simplier OpenGL for windows, or multiplatform library SDL - Simple DirectMedia Layer which you could easilly run on mostly all systems ), so there is no need of having some ultra stuff connection to internet or beign connected on streamed TV, also another plus is that music is made by PC itself ( more accurately by series of commands from program to sound table - which is wrong [ slightly ] on let's say about 80% nonprofessional sound cards, but that didn't makes so much difference anyway so .. ) and there is no need for some external codecs ( god bless MIDI ) so you already have anything that's needed.
Last big advantage is the capacity of downloaded file, for lets say about 10 megs most you get HQ sound and HQ video, which would be a highly greater than obtained video with containing audio
Demoscene itself got their own youtube channel but i would be adding here some "more soothing" pieces that were cooked inside the machines of modern "mix masters" of music art
I hope you enjoy and take a deeper look into what's all that stuff about and what are upcoming events
