@isaacalinghi Overstriding is where your front leg goes out too far when running and you land on your heel. The idea is to keep your stride shorter and quicker instead of longer, at least on the front leg.

I was there live for this, and it was absolutely awesome. Kolanos got the penalty shot because Roy threw his stick at a shot. Never saw that happen before. Unfortunately, this was the highlight of the year for the franchise, and it's been almost all downhill in the nine years since then.

How cool is this! I think Gary Cherone sounds absolutely awesome here. Listen to Zep playing in '85 at Live Aid, and even the most hardcore Zep fan would have to agree that Cherone and Gilbert sound wayyyy better. And Nuno beating the drums to boot. Just awesome.

Oh, ouch. You just don't mess with Marshall Crenshaw's stuff. He's the single best musician who somehow never made it big.

This song was the b-side to the US single of "When All Is Said and Done." Amazing how many b-sides are later seen as far better songs than the a-sides. I agree that this is one of the best songs from possibly the greatest pure pop band in history.
