I am sure the singer is Vince Hill, a session singer who also sang jingles on Radio Luxembourg, in particular for Tru-Gel hair dressing !.This is another clever piece of work by Cliff Adams, of 'Sing Something Simple ' and ' With Mash get Smash ' fame.

I have just managed to get a copy of this in really excellent condition.I had never heard it, way before my time but grew up playing my father's old 78's and got an appreciation of these fantastic dance bands from so long ago.I now can't get it off my mind, try keeping your feet still to this !.

Just bought one of these ( model G63 ) from the original owner.It comes with original 1960 purchase invoice for 59 & 1/2 guineas,all paperwork from new.It is in ' as-new ' condition but needs capacitors replacing.The push-pull valve amp. has great potential for being a stunning performer !.

Absolutely fantastic,timeless wonderful recording, check out ' Night Ride ' by Bert Ambrose, another cracker !.

Should have been a monster follow up to C & C,plugged to death on Pirate Radio London 'Big - L '.I bought the single but it still didn't help it chart !.

Not only Number 1 for 9 weeks from November 1952 in the UK but the very FIRST number 1 in the record selling charts although not this particular version by Al.You Belong To Me by Jo Stafford followed it up as the 2nd Number 1 , 2 great records to start the chart history !.

She's gorgeous, remember the first time I heard this, August ' 63 on the coach radio on a school holiday to Langdale in the Lake District !, the catchy pizzacato strings add to brilliant and difficult to find record .

One of the greatest ' unknown ' B side Rock N Roll records ever.Love also the Trixette record player.The wonderful period polka-dot covering was made by ICI and called ' Rexine ', also used by Pye in the same pattern but grey and white.

Great record and fantastically neat base.I have a Garrard 4HF for which I would like to make a similar one.Is it wood or metal ?, I am intrigued by the tight radius bends where there is a minimum of space thickness because of the workings within.Cheers,Roger.

I have a later version of this from the late 20's.It was bought new by my late father and I recall playing it when I was a youngster.Harry Tate sounds much younger on your version .It is strange what people took for humour 100 odd years ago !.

Just brilliant, and beautifully transcribed, just remember this is an 80 year old recording - stuff your CD's.
