@Trekfreek I've noticed how polarizing the new movie is. There is very little middle ground, it would seem: one either loves it or hates it. It is to the Star Trek franchise what the Clone Wars is to Star Wars, in that an older core audience has been abandoned in favor of a new one.

I seem to remember a survey taken back in the '90's. It asked who was the most alluring and popular female character in a Science Fiction or Fantasy series.

Yvonne Craig's Batgirl--after thirty years of competition--still came out on top. :)

I saw this movie at the local theater when I was a kid. It was a rush! They just don't make anything like it anymore. :)

That passed all to quickly.

It looked pretty much as I imagine it would if someone were shooting an invulnerable superbeing: they would pepper her at close range, and she would walk through the hail of lead, oblivious to it, and dispatch them.

Well, not bad. The gun effects on these videos are improving over time. It would be nice to see the the ricochet look refined some. I like it. :)
