About Me:
Pronto entré en la primera academia de baile de Cádiz, con Conchita Aranda, gran bailaora y maestra de muchas de las grandes bailaoras de hoy en día. Como compañero tuve al gran guitarrista Eloy Blanco, el cual fue guitarrista de grandes figuras como La Perla de Cádiz.
A su vez, fui guitarrista de Juan Parra gran bailaor de Jerez, y recibí clases magistrales de los excelentes guitarristas Manuel Lozano el Carbonero y José Luis Balao. Así pasé por todas las academias de baile de la provincia de Cádiz: Academia Marisma, Pepín Muñoz, Pepe Vázquez, Pepa Peña, Carmen Parra, Carmen Cornejo, Paquita Briseño etc.
En el año 1987, participé en el Festival Internacional de Folklore de Ankara representando a España (Cádiz) y como compañero de guitarra tuve a José Luis Figuereo, hoy se llama El Barrio.
Fui el guitarrista oficial del Ballet clásico Español y Flamenco Luis de Luis de Madrid con el que estuve varios años de gira por medio mundo: Marruecos, Japón, Canadá, Colombia, Turquía etc.
Estuve como guitarrista oficial de la academia de Pilar Ogalla y guitarrista de su hermano el gran bailaor Juan Antonio Ogalla.
Fui guitarrista del pianista Manolo Carrasco, guitarrista de la bailaora Carmen Guerrero, y también guitarrista de María José Franco con la que obtuvimos el 1º premio de baile en el festival flamenco de Huelva.
He tenido la suerte de acompañar a cantaores como: Juanito Villar, José de la Tomasa, Mariana Cornejo, Rancapino, Jesús Monge Cruz el Pijote (hermano de Camarón de la Isla) etc.
Actualmente sigo estudiando la guitarra (porque el aprendizaje de este maravilloso instrumento nunca se acaba) e impartiendo clases a alumnos de todos los países.

I had the luck to learn with the best guitar player of Cádiz for me, my brother José Herrera.
Soon, I was in the first flamenco-dancing academy of Cádiz, with Conchita Aranda a great flamenco-dancer and the teacher of a lot of great flamenco-dancers of nowadays. As guitarist-mate I had the master Eloy Blanco, who was also the guitarist of so many spectaculars figures of the flamenco like La Perla de Cádiz. Later Iwas the guitarist of Juan Parra a great flamenco-dancer of Jerez, and I took magistry lessons of the excellent guitarists Manuel Lozano el Carbonero and José Luis Balao.
Then, step by step, I passed for all the flamenco-dancing academies of the city of Cádiz: Academy Marisma, Pepín Muñozs Academy, Pepe Vázquezs Academy, Pepa Peñas Academy, Carmen Parras Academy, Carmen Cornejos Academy, Paquita Briseños Academy etc.
In 1987, I participed in the International Festival of Folklore of Ankara representing Spain with José Luis Figueres as guitarist-mate. Nowadays hes called El Barrio.
I also the oficial main guitarist of the classical Ballet of Flamenco and Español dancing Luis de Luis of Madrid, with which ballet I went on internacional tour for several years going past many different countries: Morocco, Canada, Colombia, Turkeyetc.
I was the oficial main guitarist of the Pilar Ogallas Academy and I was also the guitarist of her brother, who is a great flamenco-dancer too.
I performed the guitar with expert artists like the pianist Manolo Carrasco, the flamenco-dancers Carmen Guerrero and also Maria José Franco with whom we won the firt award in the Flamenco Festival of Huelva.
I had the luck to perform with flamenco-singers like: Juanito Villar, José de la Tomasa, Mariana Cornejo, Rancapino, Jesús Monge Cruz el Pijote( Camarón de la Islas brother) etc.
At the present, I go on studying the guitar (because the guitars learning never ends) as well i give guitar lessons to students of many differents countries.
