The impending threat of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement and the implications on our freedom and access to information and resources has brought us to this point. This is an intended declaration of war, we will not stop until this global legislation has been terminated.
We will deploy the full extent of our resources to ensure the death of this agreement which threatens net neutrality and anonymity and would give power to governments wishing to snoop on our internet usage as well as the right to interfere.

ACTA - 'The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement' is a proposed plurilateral agreement for the purpose of establishing international standards on intellectual property rights enforcement.
ACTA would establish a new international legal framework that would create its "own governing body outside existing international institutions" such as - the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) or the United Nations.
An open letter signed by many organizations, including Consumers International, EDRi (27 European civil rights and privacy NGOs), the Free Software Foundation (FSF), the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), ASIC (French trade association for web 2.0 companies), and the Free Knowledge Institute (FKI), states that "the current draft of ACTA would profoundly restrict the fundamental rights and freedoms of European citizens, most notably the freedom of expression and communication privacy."
[UPDATE] - It seems, SOPA and PIPA were just distractions! while they signed a copyright treaty "ACTA" behind the curtain...
US, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, and many EU nations have already signed this secret censorship pact last year in 2011.

Det är inte ofta som många av oss är särkilt politiska eller aktivistiska av oss, men när lagförslag som SOPA, PIPA, ACTA och NDAA (Se länkar längre ner!) klubbas igenom så är det dags att reagera på vad som håller på att hända i vårt samhälle.
Stora företag vill reglera internet, lagar, m.m. för att vi ska förbli en fördummad befolkning som endast konsumerar och inte ifrågasätter.
Det började med FRA och IPRED, som många var skeptiska emot, eftersom dessa skulle kunna missbrukas av de som tog del av informationen.
Det talas om ett sluttande plan, där våra rättigheter blir beslagtagna en efter en, i en långsam takt, för att vi inte ska notera förändringarna som görs. Men en dag så har vi nått botten, och då är vi fast i skiten.
Vi måste uppmärksamma folk om dessa lagförslag eftersom de diskuteras bakom stängda dörrar, av personer som representerar företag. Dvs. INTE de politiker vi röstat fram!
Vårt samhälle är inte så farligt som media målat upp det, vi är alla medmänniskor som vill allas bästa.
Det spelar ingen roll vad du håller på för parti, eller vad du tror på - nu kallar vi ER! Ni som tror på ett fritt samhälle där alla förtjänar anonymitet på allmänna platser, på internet och i era hem! Samlas på plattan i Stockholm för en fredlig protest för den frihet som vi har kvar!

So I come from a science side with this simple request.
Look into how they measure a star's distance, the use of geometry and a triangle. Look closely, and then you will see the lies of science before you. Also note the number of scienctists that were caught lying about global warming, all for profit purposes and to ensure their jobs.
