Jbry2288, bands provide some resistance and the stronger the bands, the greater the resistance. They, particularly like cables and chains, provide isokinetic resistance. This means that resistance increases and decreases as the bands lengthen and shorten, or as you extend and contract your arms, if they're what you're working out. This will provide some degree of conditioning and strength/power but if you want to build muscle mass, weights is the way to go. The heavier the weight, the greater the hypertrophy, or growth. When you ask which is better, I gotta reply by asking, what are your goals?

Is There a Difference in results between using the Bands and the Free weights? If so wich do you think is better?

ricaldr: Definitely do Insanity. If you do that in the morning and your boxing/specific training in the afternoon or vice versa, you will be a well conditioned finely tuned machine worthy of display at the beach. Just keep your workouts at least 6 hours apart from each other each day and get enough quality calories!! Your Insanity guide will help you determine your exact caloric need. There's an excellent formula you can use.

You have reinsipred me to concider the p90 programs. I think they will help me with performance in the boxing ring while at the same time do for me what i dont feel boxing training was doing for me. That is give me a beach ready body. By the time the sun starts to sparkle on the waters of the atlantic i can be in shape, looking good and ready to tan. Now to choose... P90 or Insanity. I think i'll go insane.
