Fistula Campaign

Obstetric fistula is a devastating childbirth injury that leaves women incontinent, ashamed and often isolated from their communities. Preventable and treatable, it is a condition no woman should have to endure. A global Campaign to End Fistula led by UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is helping to prevent and treat fistula in more than 35 countries in Africa, South Asia and the Arab Region.
