Still one of the best brass band CDs there is, and every track was done in one take - amazing!

@MrPaulVanRavenswaay - there are NO trumpets in a brass band! And the CORNETS sound beautiful in this recording.

I'm really not a fan of this march though. The fact that its not so well known speaks volumes really.

the implication is that we're hearing and seeing the same band - shame!

novelty scratch bands are alawys fun at Whit Friday, but what a shame you couldn't have spent a bit more time on marchng practice and picked music you could actually play well!

Its an Austrian march, not an American one.

its a bit 'nice' and not Germanic or swaggering enough for my taste, but very very well played.

Fantastic piece, and nice to hear a vintage recording of it.... its NOT a march though, its a test piece.

Used in the late 90's for the 1st section areas, and still sorted the bands out!
