About this user

I am someone who loves operating my HO scale model trains. I also like sharing my model trains on YouTube. I think that the engines that I like the most is the BNSF GP60M. I also like lots of other engines from both GE and EMD. I think that I like EMD more though. My dad is the one who got me interested in trains.

Now on to the fire alarms, I love fire alarms primarily because my dad has mostly had a job in that field. At first my dad had a job at Simplex Calgary, I loved going onto job sites on the weekend. Then we moved to Ontario where we now live. He transfered to Simplex Toronto and the experience was not anything anyone would want to remember. After trading stocks for a while he took his expertise to Vipond Toronto and after that he assembled his own company serving the Toronto area called Ubuntoo Solutions. The Toronto mentality drove him strait back to Calgary where he now has a job at Mircom fixing Intercom and fire alarm systems.

Youtube and videos.
On my channel you will find mostly fire alarm, model train videos and railfanning. I especially like all of these hobbies but right now I am going to talk about what I use to make videos, lately I have been using my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy's HD camera for some reason I can't get it to upload in HD. The other cameras that I often use are my Fujifilm cameras, one shoots in HD the other just does 360 resolution. If there are ever any pictures at the end of a video then I took those with my Cannon Rebel DSLR. I love using my DSLR!

Now enough about my cameras, in all of my more recent videos I have been doing editing witch involves either just some minor touch-ups or multiple things like music transitions, titles etc...
For this I use the program OpenShot. It can be used on any Linux computer. The program can be found under the software manager in the menu. I quite enjoy using video editing software for editing videos. I also like recording the radio on the computer, I use the program Audacity you can use it on a Mac, Windows PC or Linux. I use the internal recording feature on Audacity.
