I'm a Labour councillor for Nunhead & East Peckham Ward in the London Borough of Southwark. Labour are in opposition on the council which is run by a LibDem-Tory coalition.

I've been blogging for 6 years now, but I just got a video camera at christmas so this is a new thing. Hopefully my camera work and editing will improve rapidly!

I think most of my videos will be in Nunhead & Peckham. I'm hoping to use my videos to highlight local issues and that it will help to get them fixed.

I also chair the Overview & Scrutiny Committee of the council which is charged with being a "critical friend" to the administration so I also take an interest in big issues all over the borough and may well make some videos elsewhere in the borough.
