I spend most of my time playing and writing music.
don't ask me what I listen to, I don't listen to anything. I'm too busy in my head writing music.
that said I do listen to music occasionally, just not in the "I get home and chuck on a CD" way. I was in a band Billy Goats Gruff and that was cool. Now I play solo and they don't know what they're missing out on. heh.
I love to watch OTHER bands. Especially Enola Fall. they are fuc#in' amazing...
do a bit of artwork here and there and a little writing and pay the rent by not eating. I don't like chocolate (or Easter) and for some reason really dig t-shirts with the number 9 on them *??*
children who busk at christmas should be shot. so sue me, they're in my territory, I don't care if they're cute.

I respect and admire many movies and shows, too many to list, though I will say my favourite director is, hands down, Steven Spielburg. also definitely Stanly Kubrick. John Hughes is the master. David Fincher. M. Night Shyamalan. Terry Gilliam (wow). Actors (in that term I include female actors) I admire are Robert Downey Jr (fucking WOW), Hugo Weaving, Johnny Depp, Jody Foster, Robin Williams, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Heath Ledger (when he acts) Edward Norton, um... y'see, I've seen so many fucking movies and watched that much tv, I challenge anyone to crap on more than I can. It's been tested; I CAN talk underwater with a mouthful of marbles.
Music:
again, too much to say. I am incredibly fond of the Beatles (even Paul), the Kinks, Crowded House, Counting Crows, Coldplay, Things of Stone and Wood, the Turtles, Johnny Cash, The Killers, Powderfinger, Alanis Morrissette, Jewel (NOT "0304" I honestly gave it a really big chance, but fuck off. it's awful) Pink Floyd, Robby Williams (he's fucking sex on a stick. just look at him!) and so many others. I study them. OOh! Mark Knopfler is a GOD.
Books:
1984, the God Delusion, the Minotaur Takes a Coffee Break, Good Omens, Chron. of Narnia, Tomorrow When the War Began (series)... um. I read a hell of a lot of books. you should too. everybody thinks it's a good idea. womens and mens and sports and whatever magazines don't count as reading. that's poor mans/womans reading. read some Dickens for christs sakes. you'll actually learn something and see what everybody else has been ripping off forever. oh, and George Orwell (1984. the book I mean. DEFINITELY NOT the shit film adaption) came up with the concept of Big Brother. Not American television executives.
