I don't think he's abusing Atif Aslam per say, I think he's just expressing his dislike of modern studio practices of auto-tune, and other computer assisted techniques applied to songs. Could he have said it in a nicer way--absolutely--but he does have a right to his own opinion.
What they fail to realise is that true talent knows no bounds, it does not have a nationality or religion, it is simply talent. From a producer's stand point, nationality and religion are irrelevant if the artist is talented--you want the best, not someone who is going to whine and complain about...
