Film Katrina (Working Title) is a journey back to a home that has been battered by a tragedy. Director Estée Blancher explores the lives and landscapes of friends and family after the waters recede. Through their own voices, in their own words we get an intimate look at the real experiences of the people who were directly affected by the storm. With a personal connection to the region she gives us a genuine look at the culture through the eyes of a native.
