These are the video clips i took during my labor and birth of our first child. Born June 2, 2011 at home in her bedroom Charlee Jay had a perfect beautiful transition into this world! Yes i know that these videos are a little long and strewn out, but i wanted to show you something real, which this all is. Some graphically real as well. Please don't leave any negative comments, they will be deleted any way. If you have any questions or what not feel free to comment! Im putting these videos up because i want people to see that we, women, are absolutly able to birth a child an bear the "pain" of birthing a child. Yes it is hard work but it is what our bodies are built for. After giving birth at my house with my germs and my close small group of people i could not imagine having to give birth at a hospital. Being hooked up to a contraction monitor and an iv with whatever nurse is on shift is not my idea of comfort, and that's exactly what i needed during labor. We all make the best decisions for ourselves based on our research, so just please dont be ignorant, research what you are really putting into your body before you do. Thanks for watching =)

This is the birth of my second son, delivered by my big sister (whos a RN) because the midwife ran late (or the baby came fast) she got there right before I began pushing, but went ahead and let my sister finish up. I see this video now and I still don't believe that I made it through so wonderfully. One things for sure, I remembered to breath (which is the most important part). I had thoughts of positive affirmations that I could do it, and that I am a woman created by the Divine light and that we were not meant to suffer, yet to overcome. We are the ones who give birth because we can handle it, and men are there (supposed to be) for support, mentally, physically and emotionally. I would do it again. I hope this inspires more woman to challenge their own strength and defy the common misconception of birth. I chose to give birth at home for the peaceful atmosphere. My last birth was in a hospital and completely rushed. At home I felt relaxed and comfortable. I hope my sisters realize their own inner strength and abilitites. Peace and Blessings.

So, after posting the little bit of my birth video that I did the other day... I got a message asking if I could post it with sound... which is fine with me...
I don't have editing software that allows me to cut the boring parts out so to keep the sound I had to post the full 20 minute video... contractions... not knowing how to push without sucking the baby back inside (lol) and the doctor and nurse walking me though. It also shows me meeting my daughter and delivering the placenta... lol It isn't just me popping the baby out. It's everything haha.
So yeah, if you don't want to see everything... including the camera shake and the hollering in pain and the placenta... don't watch. :p If you want to see a first time natural birth from the middle of the pushing stage (I pushed for a total of 45 minutes... this is the last 15-20 minutes of it) to the meeting the baby for the first time... here ya go.
Oh and at the end, the mention of the airway and cc is because she had meconium in her water sac so they had to make sure she didn't swallow any.
