For the Religious, please read "The God Delusion", and "God is not Great". Those two books alone will answer your questions. The questions you are posing are not new, they are the same tired old questions that have been answered already.
I found answers to all my religious questions. I used to teach others the answers to those questions. One day I realized I was deceiving myself and others. Logic rules over nonsense. Evidence rules over faith. Faith is a detriment not a virtue. Losing my religion was extremely difficult. My mother still cries about it. Life was easier when I believed.
Others will never understand what people like myself and other ex-Christians have been through unless they experience it themselves. Open your mind to the possibility that religion just might be false, you might realize the delusion. It is like seeing the world through a new set of glasses. Everything becomes so clear. Gods are all man made.

People don't want to be moral beings and Atheism gives them an excuse to be just that immoral.
If a certain Religion makes a person a moral person what is wrong with that? Why do Atheists condemn moral people and view people with morality as being "Slaves" or "Mentally Ill". What is "Retarded" about being Morally responsible and holding oneself to a high moral standard?
