Hasn't the term "fishy" evolved, to include those performing drag queens who try to look as feminine as possible? The word "fishy" is regularly used on Ru Paul's Drag Race to refer to performers who aren't trans, and are made up for the stage...if they resemble conventionally beautifully women.

I agree that she's gorgeous, but it's pretty strange to point out that she has her "original skin color." As opposed to who, Michael Jackson? George Hamilton? Burn victims?

I think Glenn Close's performance in Sunset Blvd. was very convincing. But IMO, she wasn't convincing as a 50-year-old woman who's acting 20, and ends up going nuts at the end of the show.

Instead, she was convincing as an elderly lunatic, who'[s a cross between the Wicked Witch of the West and ...

@oiyabastard - I think it's going way overboard to call Trebek racist over this minor thing. But it's not "racial profiling" to assume that someone in Indian based on their appearance. It's racial profiling if you assume someone is Indian, and then treat them differently based on that.

I didn't find The Social Network to be sexist, but there are certain lines and moments from The West Wing that strike me as being a bit "off" - and that's one of them.

Sorry, indiesk8r1, but the general consensus - including every review I've ever seen of the show from professional critics - is that the kid who plays Manny on Modern Family is wonderful. You may not personally find him funny, but his acting is hardly "amateur."
