Open Days 2011 A Semana Europea das Cidades e Rexións reunirá en Bruxelas a representantes do ámbito local e rexional tanto de países da UE como terceiros. Nesta nova edición dos Open Days, que terá lugar entre os días 10 e 13 de outubro, celebraránse máis de 100 seminarios e se prevé a asistencia de 6.000 participantes e a intervención de más de 600 relatores.

A Fundación Galicia Europa (FGE) é unha entidade sen ánimo de lucro creada en 1988 co fin de promover todas as accións que propicien o achegamento entre Galicia e Europa. Participada por diversas entidades públicas e privadas galegas, a Fundación está vinculada funcionalmente á Dirección Xeral de Relacións Exteriores e coa EU, da Consellería de Presidencia, Administracións Públicas e Xustiza da Xunta de Galicia.

Fundación Galicia Europa is a private, non-profit-making institution created to promote all the actions that favour a closer relationship between Galicia and Europe. It was established in 1988, and it is made up of several public and private Galician entities. It is open to collaboration with all the institutions representing the economic and social Galician life and pursuing the same aims.
Since its creation, the directorship of Fundación Galicia Europa has been functionally linked to the Xunta de Galicia. Nowadays, the department of the regional administration in charge of Fundación Galicia Europa has been the General Directory of Foreign Affairs and EU Relations from the Regional Ministry of Presidency, Civil Service and Justice of the Galician Government.
