I've always considered miggy version to be inferior to the PC one - no textures (as scant as they might be), more display bugs, flickering colours due to palette optimization every frame. It's still Frontier though - the game that still remains unmatched, even after 15 years since its release.

For vastness of space you could consider zooming out slowly on galactic map (not system map, nor local map).

    Anyway,

I'd kill for Frontier: Elite 4.

I'd genocide for it being on something like Orbiter engine.

@mushroomjay Limiting abilities is indeed the whole point of stats, but the problem is that in SS2 it's done in stupid manner when it comes to weapons. It makes sense to not know how to hack a turret or repair complicated weapon without certain minimum amount of skill. It makes no sense to be una...

@toddrocks You're missing an important thing:

@TheGhettoLobster Pretty much this. If get past not-as good art direction and sometimes hilariously bad voiceacting (and old-ish graphics), it's a fair bit better game. ferrousscale ferrousscale commented:

I never really liked the intro. It's nice, but it spoils far too much.

As for people saying that something like Deus Ex: Invisible War ever existed, they are clearly delusional. I don't know why the second game in the series was Deus Ex 3. Must be some fad with only odd numbering or something.

    Homeworld OST - Swarmers Attack

    ferrousscale ferrousscale commented:

Bursting them with heavy corvette's special attack when they docked with fuel pods was surprisingly effective.

@GEORGEMARAUDER Well, the difficulty of the game simply peaked way too low so you could outslaughter pretty much everything in it with relative ease. I also think it's good if a game has some threats you can only flee from regardless of your level and build - keeps you on your toes.

@blastwave2k I remember reading those notes from Tel Vos. As for magic, it really becomes interesting once you get intuitive grasp of what the effects really do in the end. Low level = low amount of Enchant Points. EPs reflect how hard/powerful an enchantment is. For example a low-level restore attribute is trivial to do, not very convenient to use, but might be lifesaver if you use-up your potions and magicka for spells.
