@Sergeantsteamer Hey-I fly R/C also--when is a Pitts coming out with Skip's logo and colors in about a 45 in. electric version--would be great! I think Skip would still out fly us especially that incredible tail slide he does.

Great walkin the plane video! Love the R-3 the R-2 and the R-1 Gee Bee aircraft. Do they make this in an electric conversion? That would be nice.

What is the guy wearing the sunglasses doing at 22.00 min of this great Delmar Benjamin and his Gee Bee R-2 video? Are his glasses just a little bit too dark and too cool to see that his R-2 is masquerading as a Gee Bee "Z"?

Boy-ain't that the truth! Every time I put 20-30 flights on a great flying rc plane I feel like it's indestructable, and I would never have a mishap-then , suddenly that "date" comes up-like an expired library book, and I'm off to the hobby shop to start all over again! BUILD-FLY-CRASH-REPEAT! ...

@Taildragger2411 I put the video on so everyone could view and hopefully appreciate the great effort the builder has put into his aircraft, and I'll have to agree 100% with you about the comments. I'll bet you the negative people are only jealous of the effort, and could NEVER in their wildest ...

Put a gallon of gas in the bucket dork, and throw a lit match in---make sure your face is nice and close-and watch what happens. Every high powered energy source is highly unstable, and they require a lot of care and caution.

This is a great flying Gee Bee. Too bad Delmar Benjamin hasn't decided to build and fly a full scale R-3, as he would be the guy to do it with the phenomenal success of the R-2 he had at Oshkosh and several air shows. ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!! Had the same problem--reversed my wings and now it flys AND LANDS-great. Pay no attention to the "know it alls" that don't have a clue about the wing design--flat on the top, is WRONG!

O.K ---where did you get the floats? NICE!

Nice flying GEE BEE very smooth.--what Lipo are you using in the plane--you got over 6 1/2 minutes on that flight with some batt. left! I only get about 4-5 min with mine and I'm using a 11.1 volt 3 cell 2200 Turnigy and not at full throttle at all.

This Gee Bee is the ABSOLUTE R/C flyers dream-not just a fantasy any more! What an unbelievable sight, and sound! Thanks for posting such a fantastic video!

Hi Mustang! What kind of transmitter and receiver came with your Gee Bee? I got one (RTF) and it had a 2.4 ghz . The battery sent was a 11.1 1500 3 cell. I think I was supposed to get a 2200 in the kit. Got mine from Electrified Hobbies off Ebay.

OMG-"Chumley" must have put this one on! 5 million scammed viewers must really feel sad that they wasted at least 10 seconds of their time before hitting the back button!

My hat's off to the videographer who did a superior job of keeping the F-4 in the center of the frame so we could all appreciate a 5 star performance by the great pilot! Thanks for posting!
