These look great! i love Smiten Kitchen recipes and her pictures are great but a video is very helpful. One question (i'm from europe) what is shortening? Is it vegetable fat?

@djrnaap He was grumbling about how it looked like some people weren't having a good time then he says 'fuck em' but not in the mike, it was 36 degrees in the venue so the crowd was a bit slow in their reactions

Well I hope the lay off the alcohol when they play shows this time because it makes them very unstable..Not sure I will be paying big money again to watch them walk of stage after 50 minutes of whining about the temperature and the crowd.
