About Me:
Canada. I scrape out a living driving a taxi
between fifty and sixty hours a week at night.
I make videos just because I enjoy it, but it does
interfere, at times, with other parts of my life...
There is a lot of music that appeals to me, but
my favorite acts are Vandergraaf Generator,
Sparks, Klaatu, Roy Orbison, and Kate Bush.
These top three or five are subject to change
at any time that I discover something that
appeals more to my eclectic tastes, and then it
will be a top four or six...
When it comes to movies, I don't watch many
anymore due to a rapidly shrinking attention
span, but my all-time favorite is still It's a Mad,
Mad, Mad, Mad World, directed by Stanley
Kramer. I guess I was impressionable when I
first saw it at the age of eight or nine. My life
seems to be going the same way that movie
went, towards a taxi crash and all the money
floating away in the wind...
I majored in geology at Concordia University
in Montreal. The geology department doesn't
exist anymore, but where the rock and mineral
laboratory used to be is a collection of video
editing rooms. Go figure...
I have settled into the rut or groove of driving
cab since Valentine's day 1993. I should have
moved on after making only $15 that first day,
but I hate looking for a job so I keep on doing it...
I hope you enjoy my approach which I like to
think of as unconventional and non main-
stream, or maybe I'm only fooling myself, but
I can't stand being pigeonholed. If you don't
particularly like my videos, I do understand.
I'm not trying to appeal to a mass market.
I'm making the kind of videos that I like to
watch...

There are some sentences that I dislike to read. "This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions" is one of these sentences. So: Sorry, but obviously there's no watching your NEW YORK CITY video for me ... What song did you use?
Nightly greetings from restricted Germany,
~Michael
How are you?
I haven't been able to check Youtube for the past few months, as my laptop messed up, just got it fixed and your video about the snotty cword was one of the first I watched! I've missed your videos. There's something about them that I just love watching, there's not many vlogs I can sit all the way through and not get bored, but there's something about your voice and the way you tell your stories that I just love!
You're a wonderful person!
Much love,
Jen
