I still attend church with my father on occasion but I have detached myself from it mentally. That is, I don't take it seriously. I go because I don't want to upset my aging father. I treat it as a gathering of old family friends that I'm happy to see again. I keep my mouth shut about my doubts and skepticism.
I would be comforted by the notion of a heaven and by some ultimate judgment (by my ideals). It's a nice thought, anyway. When your lights go out, that's it. So have a blast and leave the Earth and Human-kind better than you found it.

You will also see channels about marijuana. I have never smoked or eaten pot... yet. I am pro-pot because it should be my choice as an adult. It's about freedom and reason and responsibility.
Those that demonize pot don't know what they are talking about and likely have another agenda. Hemp has an amazing number of uses and products. Marijuana is a wonderful therapeutic and medical aide. It is not dangerous.
Marijuana needs to be removed from schedule 1. Schedule 1 means that the Fed declares that it has no medicinal value whatsoever and research is restrained or prohibited. Schedule 4 or 3 is more in line with MJs nature.

Libertarians are described as "Economic conservative, Social liberal." Though not completely accurate, it's close enough.
When the new tea party started several years ago it was composed of individuals that did not like the method and rate of taxation for individuals and small businesses as well as the ludicrous spending of those tax dollars.
Now, there are several parties that call themselves the tea party. They are not the same as the original. These new parties are full of fundies and professional politicians that have warped and corrupted the original message.
I once identified with the tea party but no more. Because they no longer identify with ME.

I love a good laugh. Many of my subscriptions are comedy focused or just wacky funny fun people.

I've started a new channel "TJ7Ranch". I want to put up videos of ranch-work and old machinery and nature. And other videos posted on this channel. They might be interesting to some persons.

I grew up on a ranch. I enjoy old and new farm machinery; tractors, old stationary engines; seeing them come back to life.
I love going for a investigative or contemplative walk in the woods or along a creek.

For many years I've been a PC Tech and general PC admin.

I don't require the promise of a grand reward ("heaven") or the threat of a terrible punishment ("hell") to be a good person. I am good because it is the right thing to do. It is how I would like to be treated.

My doubt is well established, internally. I still attend church only as a show to church-going relatives and my aging father whom I don't want to upset with the truth. Going to church doesn't usually bother me all that much. There are times that a sermon gets me angry because of the lies told about other people or gods or history. I don't contribute to the offering plate.
My skepticism is not known to anyone but YTers.

As a child, I believed because that is what I was taught.
As a teenager, I began to wonder that, if the lessons were not literal then how can they be truthful. But I continued with the practices because it was family ritual.
As an adult, I turned skeptic as I continued to ponder and pose. I became apathetic toward continuing any practices and rituals because I no longer recognized any value in them.
When I stopped fearing death, I stopped fearing God. Suddenly, "POOF!" God didn't exist.
