Humanity is amazing in how we often feel we "must" do certain things. Become a doctor, pianist, mathematician -car mechanic- whatever.
In my case, when I was marched off to kindergarden, in the 1950s sometime- I already knew I was "going to be an artist."
Thus,I love the quote from Camille Corot- supposedly his dying words:
"I hope with all my heart, that there will be painting in heaven."
