About Me:
On January 4, 2011, Columnist JON KRAWCZYNSKI said, "No apologies needed for his three MVP awards, two Super Bowl appearances and NFL records for consecutive starts, victories by a quarterback, yards passing, completions, touchdowns and pretty much every other passing mark there is."
I agree, Jon.
He's humble and down to earth and loves the game in such a defining "kid-like" manner. Nobody has ever had more class and dignity when speaking of his former and fellow coaches, players, and teammates, regardless the outcome. Brett defines leadership and perseverance. Nobody will ever bring more heart and durability to the game of football again. With a staggering 300+ consecutive starts, 500+ TD's, game winning smiles that are contagious, and tears of joy that I can't help but to share with him, are just a few reasons why I adore this man so much. Brett helped build the Green Bay franchise to the legacy it is today. Lombardi gave it precedent and respect unlike any other team, and the shareholders make the Packers unique to any other in the league. Brett knows the pain and humility that comes with defeat in ways most of us can't even begin to understand. But where there is defeat, there is victory. And, nobody loves to win more than Brett Favre. His successes have followed him given all different levels of play, and he has risen to any challenge on a number of different accords. Statistically speaking, his first shocking year in purple was the best season of his career. A washed up Brett will surprise even the biggest sceptics. So, I said, let him wear whatever damn color he wanted at that point of his career. It was just too fun to watch him play. A career worth celebrating, I stand no different than one of millions when I say, thanks for the remarkable ride, Brett! Football will never be the same without you...

Interests:
The ability to travel and explore new landscapes, nature, architecture, cuisine, and culture ranks top on my "living list." I am still a geeky philosophy guru, and I'm also fascinated by the undeniable relationship between mathematics and the framework and patterns of the world around us. I've always been interested in forensic science and pathology, and other crime and medical solving methods that have evolved over the years. I love historic, vintage storytelling pieces and antiques, especially restorative buildings that date back centuries. I am a fan of art, independent films and documentaries, and talented musicians that aren't successful purely by mainstream inflation. I am a passionate animal lover, and believe in the endless array of "rescue" organizations for adoption over buying from breeders. The need is too great, and second chance animals deserve just that; a chance to live. Animals enrich lives. Period. (Especially Siberian Huskies) I enjoy anything adventurous, anything that challenges the mind and body, and anything that brings me closer to my "center" of well-being.
Movies:
Shawshank Redemption is my #1 film. Michael Mann films are also timeless. When someone asks what my all time favorite films are, "Heat," and "The Insider" always come to mind. Director Mann is also a fan of Lisa Gerrard and understands the depth of her music and the emotional impact her voice can play on cinema.
Music:
I am a tattooed TORIphile, a Righteous Babe of Ani Difranco, a drooling Grobanite, and to complicate things even more, a heavy Toolinite. My favorite music achives is all over the map...But, I love brilliant bands that kick it up a notch non-mainstream style, once again, (Arcade Fire~Where the hell was I when this band made its debut?; Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Andrew Bird, Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine, Damien Rice, Dead Can Dance, Portishead, Hooverphonic, Helios, Boards of Canada)...to name a few. Any works composed by Philip Glass and Mark Isham, with their extensive discographies should go duely noted and explored as amazing visual artists. I will remain partial to ambient, experimental electronica music that carries deep, lush, moody sound quality.
