Going Out of My Bloody Mind

reading, writing, swimming or anything else involving water, photography, cross-stitch, playing the piano, listening to music, (parts of) my job, computers, computer games, reading (yes, again), um . . . watching my blind friend walk into walls (which he does do often enough to be considered a hobby), watching OSU football (go, Bucks!), reading webcomics (Sluggy Freelance, Bruno the Bandit, Nukees, Ozy and Millie, No Rest for the Wicked, Suburban Menagerie), playing with the bodies, knitting, autumn (yes, that's an interest), baking, sometimes cooking, making messes, taking Bad Dog for walks, medieval stuff, silver jewelry, romance in any corny form in which it might present itself, museums, the outdoors, obsessively organizing things, bookstores, sleeping, procrastinating, making fun of people who like awful fantasy

Favorite? Okay then, well, for movies: LOTR, of course (Peter Jackson is brilliant), Elling, Waking Ned Devine, all Monty Python movies, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Young Frankenstein, Sean Connery as James Bond, A Fish Called Wanda, Christopher Guest's movies, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Stranger than Fiction, Shrek (yes, leave me alone), and When Harry Met Sally (really shut up, Alex). For shows: Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served, Grace and Favour, As Time Goes By, South Park, The Office, and The Simpsons.

This is not in any kind of order, but for hard-ish stuff: Slipknot, Rammstein, Dope, Metallica, Mushroomhead, System of A Down, Mudvayne, Fear Factory, Megadeth, Korn, Rob Zombie, Deadsy, Nothingface, Hellyeah, Machinehead, Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, Stone Sour, Oomph, Powerman 5000, Coal Chamber, and maybe possibly Finntroll. Classical: Beethoven, J.S. Bach, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Wagner, bits of Mozart, Vivaldi, Debussy, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, and some bits of Satie. Other random stuff: Emilie Autumn, the Portal theme song, Rush, ska, Nightwish, a soft spot for Offspring, Loreena McKennitt, a quiet obsession with Greensleeves, likewise with some old Police stuff, Oingo Bongo, and terrible 80's stuff, like Quiet Riot and Twisted Sister.

Um . . . Terry Pratchett (my new-ish obsession), and currently anything that will prove that SGGK was intentionally written in a West Midlands dialect.
