Howdy howdy.
Bit of a note: If any company/author/artist/creator of a work requests deletion of a video due to copyright, I will no longer buy, read, watch, or listen to the product, service, book, or music supplied by said entity.
It is my personal opinion that it is arrogant and selfish to claim something as yours and only yours, and only available to other people "for the right price." I distrust any information provided in a product created to turn a profit.
I do not believe in patents, DRM protection, or works licensed to be used only in a "non-derivative" form.
I know I sound to be uninformed and an ignorant layman. I am. But the world isn't going to change because of my opinion, so don't worry. You just won't get my business.
I also no longer subscribe to, nor accept friend invitations from, YouTube partners. To me, it kind of removes the "You" from YouTube, which defeats the site's own Community Guidelines. If you are a commercially-oriented site, group, or individual, there are by far better (and more appropriate) places to offer your content. Even if some of your content is posted here, it does not look professional to have Google Adsense in your videos, especially when trying to promote your offering (particularly those that can't be skipped at the beginning of a video).
If you are a YouTube Partner who is a nonprofessional individual or group not affiliated with a company then I will remain in support of your efforts.
I do not accept requests from those looking for "sub4sub"s, those offering "Free Sub"s, or those spamming as such in video comments.
