I learn all music by ear so I have no sheet music or tabs to offer. Youtube has served as an outlet for me and hopefully entertainment for you. If I inspire just one of you to learn a musical instrument; then I've done my job.

Do yourselves a favor and seek out "doctorcastille" on youtube; he has done wonders with some of my performances.
About Me:

Used to do local venues years ago. Now, music is just a hobby. My music background is 10 years of classical piano; guitar is self-taught.

Thanks very much for taking the time out to listen. I appreciate all the comments - both good and bad - and apologize for not being able to respond to most of you. When I started this as a lark a couple years ago, I thought I would only be doing a few videos here and there. I had no idea it would escalate to where it is now and am truly humbled by the number of subscribers who find my performances half-way listenable.

As to the question of original compositions - they exist - but i feel my songwriting skills are just too derivative of the vast amount of music i have been exposed to throughout my life. True artists are poets who put their words into music - a poet i'm definitely not. Therefore, I feel better doing covers of artists that inspire me.

I do not and never have had the aim of getting a recording contract; i just like playing music as a hobby and am flattered some of you out there actually enjoy it.

School is done, tests have been taken and passed. Will start my new career next week. Only now, time will be taken up with work instead of books. Will still post a vid now and then - thanks for listening,

Rick
