WOW my friend and the namesake of this site the wonderful A. E. Stallings just won the Macarthur fellowship also known as the genius award. She has been given lots of money to keep writing her great poetry. I told her 10 years ago that she would one day receive awards and the Nobel Prize as well (after all another poet i met received both named Dereck Walcott). I corresponded with her today October 5 and she will be setting apart time and sppace for more poems. I am looking forward to those ... I told her the Nobel is next one day. Remember you read it here first!
note: all videos uploaded before September 2011 have not been edited or changed. All of them are raw uploads. Only one of them has music added and it is the boring Seagull video. My brother says my videos are too home made looking... well they are homemade. Hence, I have decided that I have created a new title. I think I may be a Folk Video Artist; or a Self Taught Video Artist; a fan of the late Folk Artist Howard Finister. Visited his home garden several times. I don't know what I am doing Video wise and he didn't know how to paint. However we both like to express something and hopefully make someone smile. I am not even sure video taping photographs and talking about them is a video. Art like so much in life can be very subjective.
