	fancczf (1 year ago) no one is saying chinese navy is better than U.S navy, but the point is chinese navy is now able to extend its combat radius into blue ocean and secure trading routes, is able to lay pressures on the U.S navy to push it back into its own areas. the difference between china and US is china is not stationing troops and vessels on every corner of the world, if you want to compare US is more like royal navy in 1939, and china is more like german kriegsmarine in the same year, smaller scale but still capable to knock a punch and push you back to your base area
