I hear faint singing. I can't make out the song but I can hear it. It's comforting. I also hear a steady beep beep beep.My alarm clock ?Then I feel someone holding my hand so i squeez it with what tiny strenght I have. I open my eyes and I see Nick. He's Smiling at me in a strange way and says somthing. I can't make out what. Where am I? All I see is white. Then I remember.




I have a flashback. Back to the night of the party. I remember getting in the car of Nicola's older sister. And then the giant truck.

The pain hurts SO much. EVERYTHING hurts. Well from my head to my waist. I realise I cant feel or move my legs .

Then nick Says somthing:


Nick- What Happend? D'you Remember anything?


I try to reply but my words come out slurred and it's obvious he can't understand me.So I try and speak slower.

Sadie- *Mumbles* Im Sorry.

Nick- Why? Please don't be. You haven't done anything.Just tell me What were you doing in that car?


Sadie- It's a long story..

Nick- I've got plenty of time.

Sadie- Fine. I'll tell you. I got invited to a party,on the night that you Kevy, Joe, Mom and Dad were going to that interview. So I thought "why not?". I thought I could be back by the time you got home, and that you would never have to know i even went. So,obviously, I went. Then when it was time to go I got Offerd a lift so i took it, I thought it would be safer than asking for a taxi. I was wrong. The car got hit by an on-coming truck and thats all I can remember.


There was a long pause. I couldn't make out the expression on Nick's face. Was it anger? I diddn't know.
Then he spoke:


Nick- Why diddn't you ask our premisson? Mom and Dad will kill you, you know that? Well forget about that now. We Just have to focus on making sure you get better. You almost DIED. You were in a coma for 2 and half weeks.


Im in shock. Thats 2 and a half weeks of my life wasted. They passed and I diddin't even know about it.


Sadie- What about youre work, all you're concerts?


Nick- Oh, we're taking time off at the moment.


Sadie- But all you're fans...They must hate me!


Nick- Relax. The Doctor says you can't get stressed out. The fans are being very understanding.




Sadie- I'll get Stressed if i wanna get stressed!



Nick- Just take it easy, try not to get worried over anything.



Sadie- Fine. Nick, I hurt so much.



Nick- I know, You'll be given medication 5 times a day. That should help. And You're Paralysis should be gone in a couple of weeks. They say you might have to learn how to walk again.



It could be worse I supose......I could be dead.

Suddenly I rememberd. I wansn't The only one in the car that night. There was Nicola's Sister Abbi.



Saide- Nick?



Nick- Yh?



Sadie- Did they find the driver of the car? Abbi?




Nick- Oh...There was another girl. But unfortunatly the failed to bring her back to life with the CPR. She died by the roadside...

Nick's Point of Veiw

We practicaly live at the Hospital now. Though we couldn't think of anything worse for her than to wake up in a unfamilliar place without her family. so we are always waiting, waiting for her to wake up. The Doctors seem to think that she will have tempory paralysis when she wakes up, if she wakes up ;-( .

It's my turn to keep an eye on her now. We sorta have a rota. I walk into her room. She's still lying there.
It's been 2 and a half weeks.The longest 2 and a half weeks of my life. I miss her so much.


I walk over to her bedside and sit on the chair placed next to her and sit down. I suddenly have the urge to sing.

I walked down the corridor to her room. I diddnt know what to expect. I opened the door and there she was. Helplessly lying there.her eyes tightly closed. there was tubes coming from everywhere. her nose, her mouth.

But she looked prettier than ever for some reson. Her wavy brown hair neatly tied back in a ponytail over her shoulder. and her long black eyelashes. I Like i had never noticed before.



I sat down on the end of her bed. I took her hand and kissed it softly. then i realised there was a needle in it for perfusion. I started crying.


I cant remember the last time i told her i loved her.

I knelt over and whiperd in her ear

- I love you.

At that moment a nurse came in to give her medication.

I kissed her one more time on her forehead and left the room.
In the hall i brokedown.I slumped into a corner and cried my heart out. I diddnt care about people watching me, I just wanted my sister to be alright.

An hour later we left the Hospital to go back home. I diddnt sleep. I couldnt help thinking about our little angel.

We arive at the hospital 30mins later. We walk up to a desk where a young nurse is standing.


Papa- Katie Jonas. Were her family.


Nurse- She's currently undergoing surgery. Follow me.

We followed her down a low lit corridor. It was midnight after all. People were sleeping in their rooms.
She took us to a small room with a coulple of chairs and afew pot plants. We were told to wait until
The Doctor came to say it was alright to see her.

We all sat down. I dont know why but we all felt a bit awkward. Again none of us spoke.


Finally after an hour and a half of paitient waiting a Doctor entered the room.


Doctor- Hello. Im Dr Edwards. We've Finished on Sadie.



Nick- How is she?


Dr Edwards- She is still in a coma but stable. She had dislocated her sholder also major internal bleeding, broken ribs, as well as fractures to her arms, legs, chest and pelvis.And there are also multiple cuts and bruises over her body.

We were in shock. How could her little body indure so many injuries?


Mama- Can we go see her?


Dr Edwards- Yes but only one at a time. She isn't breathing alone yet so don't be shocked by all the machinesand tubes.

We Decided Mama should go first then Papa then Nick then Joe then me.



Finally it was my chance to see her. Nothing could prepare me for what i was about to see.

Were in the car on the way back from the interveiw and Mama's driving.Were about 10 mins away from our house. My Phone goes.

Doctor- Hello. Is this Joe Jonas speaking?

Doctor- Im afraid theres some bad news.

Joe- What do you mean?

Doctor- Im afraid your sister has been involved in a car accident.She's in bad way with multiple injurys.She's currently in a coma.

I put the phone down.My faces crumples up. I put my head in my hands. Everyone was confused.


Mama- Joe? Sweetie? Tell us. Who was it? What's Happaned?

I was crying hytericly. Mama put her arm round me.

Mama- What do you mean? She is ok, isn't she?

Joe- NO. she isnt. That was a Doctor on calling. She's been in a car accident. And they say she has life thretening injurys and that she's in a coma.

I see Nick crying in the back seat. I think we are all crying. None of us speak. We were trying to get a hold of our emotions; Anger, Fear, sadness, all at once.

I've decided on wearing my grey skiny jeans with glittery black shoes, a long white t-shirt and an cute black jacket with a white collar- thingy. It was quater to 8 and i decided to get a move on. I chose to get a taxi, i cant drive and Nicola's house is quite a way from mine.


I arrive at Nicolas house at 8:05. 5mins late but so what? its fashionable to be late! I knock at Nicola's front door. Nicola opens it helself.

Nicola- Hi!

I looked into the lounge there were about 20 people in ther. Nicola's House is really big so we diddnt fell squashed. I heard the music playing. It was Basshunter "Now Youre Gone", one of my favourite songs!

Nicola- Theyre not home my dad is on a buisness trip in Europe and my Mom has gone with him.

I had a great evening. We danced, did kareoke, ate pizza! It was great. Before i knew it, it was 10pm.Wow! time has gone really fast. I went over to tell Nicola i was leaving.

I've never enjoyed the attention.People wanting to be my friend because I have famous brothers. I only have one real friend, Hazel. Sometimes I talk to other girls, but very rarely.Girls come over to me and ask me for autograghs from my brothers. It can get quite anoying somtimes.

Thats why i was warey when Nicola Barrat (One of the most popular girls in the school) walked over to me when i was eating my lunch with Hazel in the canteen.

Having Rockstars as brothers is great but its not all glitz and glamour. People would think that having rockstar brothers would affect our family life but you would be surprised. We still do things as a family maybe not as often as a normal family but we still do all the things that normal family would do, like going to the beach, eating in restaurants , chores! The Jonas' are my adoptive family, i was adopted when i was 3 and a half. My real parents chose to give me away they thought they werent able to look after me, well thats what i have been told, i dont even know their names. But i couldnt imagen life without the Jonas' , we do everything together. And i have the most amazing brothers im so proud of how far they have come.
Im not sure if youre really aloud to have favourites in you family but I think i love Kevin the most. Hes always there if you need him, to talk to, for advice or just a hug. Dont get me wrong i love all my family the same but sometimes i think Joe can be a bit annoying and Nick a bit sensative but kevin can be funny without being anoying and sensative but not touchy!
