Mary Manin Morrissey is the former Senior Minister of Living Enrichment Center, which was a New Thought mega church in Wilsonville, Oregon.
LEC closed in a $10 million scandal in 2004. Mary Morrissey's then-husband, Edward Morrissey, was sentenced to prison for money laundering and admitted to using church money for the personal expenses of himself and his wife. Despite these facts, Mary Morrissey did not serve any prison time. She agreed to repay $10 million of personal loans the LEC congregation had loaned to her, but so far no one has received any repayment.

About Me:
Also, be aware that Mary Morrissey's son, Mat Boggs, is traveling the country with his boyfriend, Jason Miller, with what they call "Project Everlasting." They travel the country asking elderly couples for the secret to long lasting marriages -- and then asking the elderly couples for donations. Mary Morrissey, who has yet to repay one cent to her former congregation, has contributed her money to Project Everlasting.
