- I really like the ARX-100 - It's a low maintenance, piston driven rifle, that's truly ambidextrous and very simplistic in design. I think it's a futuristic-looking rifle and a step in the right direction. It's super reliable and ready to go out of the box. The controls on this rifle are hard for me to work since my hands are really small, but for an average-sized shooter, I think there are only a couple changes that would make it a perfect package. Unfortunately, I had very limited time with the rifle and didn't get a chance to get a scope on it for serious accuracy testing - but I still really enjoyed shooting it. It does have a heavy trigger pull (over 10lbs), so hopefully Beretta will improve that, and there will probably be aftermarket upgrades.
