I think you should delete this video. I would be happy if I could get this equip in the beginning. I started with pioneer cdj, but with learnt on 2nd 3rd class mixers 10 years ago. Now I have a same mixer than yours, and I'm better than anybody.

I always laugh on peoples using sync button. Beatmatching is a little thing of mixing or djing, which takes about 20 sec max. I saw many dj's using traktor on the same way, as a normal cdj or vinly player do. So where are the extra loops? lol

Djing it's more than beatmatching... Spend more time, try to keep beats always together. First thing to teach him: put the pitches to same values on each turntable.

I do beatmixing, so don't compare it with your "contest mix". I mean that you're on the EFX 1000 on most of the 5 mins, without doing one real beatmix. You change one track to the other in 5 sec, just when the beat goes off or the played track ends.Can you set speed between 2 tracks? I'm not sur...

Some djs use the volume meter as a disco light, which is incorrect. Usually I let it till the last green bar, and then the monitoring can be done easily when you're mixing two tracks. You should also take into consideration when you use effect, depending of the effect level it will boost the mast...

I don't play this genre, but i think the mix sections are short....beatmixing is the right way to mix 2 tracks.
