The Salafi belief stems from the salafism founder:-
JAMAL-AD-DIN AFGHANI, a shia & Jamals's student was Muhammad Abduh, Salafism fueled by british in India & now Saudi/American petrol dollars!!
It is incorrect to say that the majority of the Muslims are Salafis & that only Muslims from the Indian subcontinent are non-Salafis. The Ullama have advised that we must guide The Salafis to the truth.

Fact:=over 85% of Muslims follow the traditional orthodox Sunni path of the mainstream Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah.(including our Deobandi brothers& sisters , our Barelwi brothers & sisters& our Sufi brothers & sisters!! )This has been the way for over a thousand years, & only recently (in the last 30 years) has the Salafi sect come into existence.
This doesn't mean that the Deobandi muslims & the Barelwi muslims have everything in common.

Shi'ism stems from a jewish man from Yemen called Abdullah bin 
Saba,' who formed the shia sect/the Sibaweeyah sect.(why is a jew called abdullah? well back then in Arabia,obviously people had arabic names!
Even non muslims,wasnt Hazrat Umar ibn-ay-Khattab (RA) still called Umar before islam???? The Ullama have advised that we must guide The Shias to the truth. Hazrat Ali(RA) HIMSELF knew that Ameerulmumineen, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) had a higher status than him & would not tolerate preference given to himself over Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) which therefore proves the Shia sect to be baseless!

WAHHABISM taken on the thought of  Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab al-Najdi who took a Theory of ibn taymeeyah, & put the theory into practise. 
Dont confuse Wahhabism, with being originated from (Al-Wahaab) Allah's name, because this is like saying Imam Malik's
fiqh comes from The term, Al Malik(Allah's Name)

Kalimatan - the Seal of al-Bukhari: (Bukhari) the short but powerful hadith that Imam al-Bukhari ended Sahih al-Bukhari with. Translation is as follows: 'there are two phrases which are beloved of the Most Merciful, light on the tongue, yet heavy on the scales (of reward):" glory be to Allah and all praise to Him, glory be to Allah, the Mighty".
