Fairmont International Education
Welcoming students from around the world, Fairmont International Academy provides a unique, one year, multi-leveled program of intensive, English as a Primary Language (EPL) instruction. An unmatched, four hours per day of English language instruction is coupled with a full mathematics program (Algebra-Calculus), and elective courses in American Art, American Cinema, American Civics, PE, General Science and Drama to provide students with the rigorous preparation necessary to promote to the Nation's top college prep schools. The EPL program also includes cultural immersion activities such as American holiday celebrations and cultural excursions to best initiate students' understanding of American culture. Fairmont's Homestay Program is available to students interested in living with local, American families. The majority of graduates from this WASC-accredited program continue their high school education at Fairmont Preparatory Academy. Summer school, enrichment workshops and customized programs are available during summer months.
