@cometandcupids: the concerts in themselves weren't exhausting; they only played for about a half an hour. It was the traveling that was exhausting. Not to mention they were trying fufill album commitments, too!

@sockhead579: That was Buddy's body at 0:53, as he was wearing a light tan/beige overcoat. If you REALLY want to know the extent of all their injuries, you can find the death certificates online. But it just underscores the horrific tragedy of this accident.

This piece was THE inspiration for me to start seriously composing after hearing Russo himself playing the first movement from the record in his composition class at Columbia College in 1981!

Yes- this track is most definitely from the 1964 Hollywood Bowl concert. Too bad the real soundtrack doesn't exist.
