Chenoa couldn't help it, she was born into music. Growing up she attended her father's jam sessions and performances (singing along more often than not), learned to harmonize by the age of 5, was improvising harmonies and changing key mid-song by 6, made her first attempt at a solo album at 9 by way of creating melodies for some Christmas poems and singing them into a cassette recorder (her mother found this adorable), and taught herself pennywhistle at 13 and guitar at 15.

When she was 16, her family recorded Unquiet, with From Earth To Heaven following a year later. From these she was nominated twice for a Whammy Washington Area Music Award) for 'Best Female Vocalist'. Chenoa decided to pursue a music career, working solo and occasionally collaborating with fellow musicians. She sings everything from blues to folk to classic rock to alternative, doing covers and originals.
