About The Faces of Diabetes
EVERYONE HAS A STORY
and you arent alone. About one in 15 Utahns have diabetes, one in five have pre-diabetes, and each one of us has a story to tell.
The Faces of Diabetes initiative is seeking to collect and share diabetes-related stories to help bring us together as a community of survivors, families, and advocates. By watching the personal struggles and triumphs of real people striving to prevent or learning to live with diabetes, we hope to uplift and give hope in a way that simple facts and online tips never can. And by making it easy for anyone to share their story, we can reach our goal of creating a virtual community where every voice is valuable, where every story is heard, and where together we are strong.
