My Korda won so many free flight contests back in the day with 2min, 3min flights. A great design that keeps on winning for the Society of Antique Modellers and even for today's event rules in the AMA.

Gullows kits are a poor choice to get started trying to fly FF scale rubber. They are too damn heavy to be very sucessful. If you want more realism and flight duration you need to start with kits that are available from small back-yard manufacturers like all the ones listed in Flying Models magaz...

Non practitioners cannot begain to understand how difficult this is to do successfully. I was there. Placed fourth in Giant Scale at these Nationals. Felt privaledged to just be there!
