Journalism - Broadcast is a two-year diploma program that provides students with the necessary skills to succeed in the rapidly expanding journalism industry. Emphasis is placed on developing strong writing and research skills, producing sound and images, and honing the craft of storytelling. The program prepares graduates to work with a range of technologies. Additionally, graduates of the program will appreciate the role of journalism in society, the need for professional ethics, the impact of media convergence, and the increasing range of employment opportunities in non-traditional areas.
