About Me:

I like to create beauty videos to share my passion with others and help educate girls about makeup. I didn't have someone to teach me and show me how to apply makeup when I was growing up and I didn't really start wearing makeup until I was almost done with high school. I used to have bad skin and wasn't confident with myself, and I really wish I knew how to use makeup for the simplest reasons, like concealing acne, and how to make my skin look smooth and flawless. Looking back to my younger years inspired me to create these beauty videos and help others.

I truly do believe makeup is an art form. I developed a great interest in makeup a few years ago when I started experimenting with makeup and saw what unbelievable transformations makeup can do. My favorite makeup brand is MAC; ("Makeup Art Cosmetics") I fell in love when I saw their beautiful bright colors, intense pigments, and simple yet sleek black packaging, and have been devoted to their products for years. Don't get me wrong, I do use a lot of other brands too!

I am a makeup artist and have worked in the beauty industry for several years. I have worked for and was trained extensively by Lancome cosmetics, gaining vast cosmetic and skincare knowledge, and I have also worked for a beauty boutique, working closely with estheticians and selling over hundreds of different makeup, skincare, nail, and haircare brands.

As for freelance experience, I have worked on Miss Asian America pageants, runway and fashion shows. My latest gig was at the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show for his upcoming Spring 2011 line.

I'm also currently working with Seventeen Magazine, participating in their Beauty Smarties project, and creating beauty videos for them on a monthly basis.
