About Biblical Family Values

My channel is here to teach people things about the bible that they might not know. In john 8:58, jesus teaches he is none other than the hebrew old testament god: "Before abraham was i am." In using the phrase "i am" jesus is declaring that he actually IS the same hebrew god which refered to himself that way in exodus 3:14.
With this proper understanding of jesus as being the OT god, certain things become evident.

Jesus approves of genocide, killing & rape of children: Deut 20:16-17,Num 31:14-18
Jesus approves of buying, selling and beating slaves: Exodus 21:20-21 and Lev 25:44
Jesus thinks wars should be fought by killing all men and taking the women and children as slaves: Deut 20:10-14
Jesus thinks women are just property of men: Exodus 21:2-10
Jesus tells parents to kill their kids if they merely curse or hit them: Exodus 21:15,17
If you are not comfortable with this view of jesus, then you don't actually believe that he is the specific hebrew god he claimed to be.

Here's a little blurb on myself... ... I feel an almost insatiable drive to expose the dangers and absurdities of religion and promote the cause of humanism. Humanism, to me, is trusting in our species' abilities to make the world a better place. You know, to reduce suffering by curing disease, promotion of human rights, etc. We need to take charge and actively make this world better, instead of casting prayers to one of the gods invented by bronze-age societies and trying to live according to the ancient laws and traditions that have little relevance to modern life. I mean, what have all the gods really done for mankind? Did any of the gods provide us a cure for small pox or the plague when these diseases were causing immense suffering? No! None of them lifted a finger to help. And the church was ready to thwart any advances that might have led to improvements in our understanding of the universe and our struggles to survive.

Yet, when humans set up this great secular government and allowed people unheard of freedoms against the tyranny of religious power which denied human rights, just look what we've been able to accomplish! In just 200 years of freedom from the tyranny of the church, we have been able to cure and/or reduce the incidence of many of the dreadful diseases that have tormented humans throughout the dark ages when religion ruled the world. Before that people thought disease was a punishment from god since the bible taught this. A god who cared about reducing human suffering could have at least steered us in the right direction. You know, taught us disease comes from tiny pathogens that we can't see; but if we use the scientific method we can discover these and begin to invent antibiotics to treat ourselves from the very diseases that our loving god created to inflict suffering and death on our innocent babies and children.

As an example, science has invented many effective ways to eliminate mildew from a house. This is what the god of the bible thinks the solution is:
To purify the house he is to take two birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop. He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot. Then he is to take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times. He shall purify the house with the bird's blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop and the scarlet yarn. Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields outside the town. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean." [Lev. 14:48-53]

How many of you religious nuts would take the advice of your all-knowing god and do that? I'd reach for the bleach; but that's just me.
