I am an Atheist and proud to call myself a Kafir, which is the honourable Arabic name for unbeliever.

ON ISLAMOPHOBIA

The notion "Islamophobia" dates back to the 1980s and is dreamed-up to suppress all criticism of Islam by labelling it illegal. "Islamophobia" is defined as "prejudice against, hatred or fear of Islam or Muslims".
Well, that sounds pretty much like discrimination: prejudice and hatred, after all, are blameworthy gut feelings, are they not?

But what about "fear of Islam"? Is fear an objectionable feeling at all?

Let's define the term "phobia": "An IRRATIONAL, intense and persistent fear of certain situations, activities, things, animals, or people".
Is "phobia" equivalent to "fear"?
No! While "phobia" is irrational by definition, fear is not! Fear is the universal ability to recognize danger and flee from it or fight it.

Must we fear Islam?
There are two yardsticks to measure Islam: (1) Islamic scriptures and (2) terrorist actions in the name of Islam.
(1) Islamic scriptures are infested with hatred against non-Muslims, while (2) since the Islamic attack of 9/11 Islamic terrorists have carried out 17.000+ deadly terror attacks.

Now, is there a reason at all to fear Islam? Certainly there is!
The word "Islamophobia" is a wilful lie in terms! Pat Condell: "The word Islamophobia is pure political opportunism and pure cultural terrorism, intended like all terrorism to intimidate people, in this case into shame and silence. And I think that anyone in the West who uses that word for any reason other than to ridicule it should seriously examine their conscience."
Islam is not a religion, it is a totalitarian political ideology disguised as a religion.

ARE TERRORISTS NOT MUSLIMS?

Time and again Muslims state that terrorists are not Muslims, because Islam forbids killing innocent people. As so called "proof" they like to refer to verse 5:32, which they interpret as: "Anyone who kills an innocent person is as if he killed the whole of humanity."
This is an shameless misconstruction of the actual Qur'anic text.

The relevant line in verse 5:32 reads:
[...] whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men [...]
Alas, the 5:32 rule excludes those that do "mischief in the land". And what is the worst mischief in Islam? Being an unbeliever!
For example read verse 3:56 or 3:85.

Verse 3:56 - "As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.''
Verse 3:85 - "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers."

Being a disbeliever is the gravest mischief of all! So, rule 5:32 is invalid for killing disbelievers, because their mischief is the greatest of all: being a disbeliever!

The lame complaint that Islamic terrorists are not Muslims is based on worn out arguments. Taking this shabby reasoning one step further, one might as well maintain that Islamic scriptures are not Islamic.

Anjem Choudary defines terrorism as follows:
"Terrorism is defined by God (Allah) as the verbal or physical use of violence whether by a state or individual against a person or people (civilians or combatants), IN THE ABSENCE OF A DIVINE PERMIT."

Ah, so! So if Allah is OK with terrorism, it is no longer terrorism! Some superbeing!
