    North Korea (Part 13)

The finale of the North Korea series.

We visit the Nampo dam, a.k.a. the West Sea Barrage, and then roll back to Pyongyang to see an embroidery ...

It is a civic duty to keep the portraits of the Kims clean. NK inspectors make random drop ins to people's homes to make sure that the portraits are not dusty or dirty. It is insane when people are starving. Whatever problems that the USA has I am sure glad that I wasn't born in a country like NK.

Interview With Mark David Chapman John Lennon's Assassin

The point is that Lennon had his flaws and I just wish that people could recognize that instead of treating him as this selfless modern day Jesus. Ask his estranged son about how nice the guy could be. Still, it was a tragedy that one deranged fan couldn't separate Lennon the man from Lennon the ...

@joecc6 He's a Rebel is also a good book and goes a bit more in depth about Spector's recording techniques and musical output. The echo chamber plus the fact that all of the musician's mics bled into each other was a key component to the Wall of Sound.

I've seen it twice now and think that it's a good film. Like Romero's Dead films the Deadgirl zombie isn't what's scary, it's the people in the film who are the true evil. Ronettes - Be My baby

    music video from Ronettes

@WytZox1 Why shouldn't it be considered music? And why should you be the one to dictate what is music and what isn't music? Of course, music has changed and evolved through the years. Rock was a natural progression from blues and black music. Rap was born out of the crack cocaine era of the inner...
